A heavy mist gathers in front of you, quickly solidifying into the form of Baerdolas.

Helyanwe just found a delicate dragon pendant hung on a thin silver chain in a crate filled with gifts!

A luminous cloud descends from the sky, spreading a warm, golden glow over everything around you. As the cloud hovers just at arm's reach, the light from within it begins to pulsate, and you see a form taking shape in its midst. Soon the vaporous haze has dissipated, and Serenay is standing at your side.

Ceosanna says, "Go ahead and snag a gift, if you want one, get all your classes started, and whatnot."

The air wavers in front of you, everything beyond it shimmering like things seen under water, while colors ripple across the surface of the air, spinning and transforming themselves slowly into the form of Adera.

Baerdolas says, "They keep some of us locked up in the back just for this occassion."

Ceosanna says, "If you don't know them already, let me introduce my cohorts."

Ceosanna exclaims, "Serenay!"

Ceosanna motions to Serenay.

Emmiline asks, "I don't suppose Seteria is here, is she?"

Fireeyes shakes her head at Emmiline.

Emmiline says, "Drat."

Serenay exclaims, "I'd like to announce a fun little contest that is starting... today!"

You arch your eyebrow.

Serenay exclaims, "We are holding a contest for you to design that one item you've always wanted in your home!"

Serenay smiles.

Helyanwe ponders a bathroom

Serenay grins at Helyanwe.

Ceosanna whistles at Serenay.

Emmiline asks, "I would really love for the rest of my inventory to shelve itself. Can you make that happen for me?"

Emmiline peers quizzically at Serenay.

Ceosanna says, "Well, she could, but she'd probably require a lot of blood sacrifice."

Ceosanna nods to Emmiline.

Ceosanna says to Serenay, "At least, I would."

Serenay coughs.

Emmiline says, "Well...I AM right around the corner from the hospital..."

Ceosanna exclaims, "Handy!"

Ceosanna nods to Emmiline.

Emmiline says, "Or I will be, anyway."

Ceosanna asks, "Oh?"

Ceosanna asks Emmiline, "You DO know that these folks like to shop, right?"

Emmiline says, "I had heard that rumor, yes."

Baerdolas says, "I am just here to rub elbo...err knees well my elbow, probably most of your knees, anyways, I am one of the new guys. Most of what I do is behind the scenes but I still like to learn about the people who actually use it."

You observe Baerdolas with fascination.

Ceosanna grins at Baerdolas.

Helyanwe asks, "What area are you usually assigned to, Baerdolas?"

Fireeyes chirrs contentedly to herself, her tail undulating gently back and forth.

Danxiuls says, "It's always good to meet the folks behind the secences even if they stay behind the secences most of the time"

Baerdolas says, "At the moment more of a bit of everything. "

Emmiline says, "Goodness...you must be awfully tired."

You say, "Well my first thing was just a heads up about the GM submission process... I've heard several reports that people aren't getting the auto-reply even after several attempts. "

You say, "I'm not sure what to tell them."

You say, "They've emailed Helena with no responses either."

Ceosanna says, "Checking on something quickly."

Danxiuls says, "The first time I sent in the app for ALAE the system lost it and Zads had to have me send it to a persoanl e-mail because it was in the system at all so don't assume its ever gotten there without confermation of some sort"

You nod at Danxiuls, in complete agreement with his views.

Fireeyes says, "I did just have a thought about that. Recently my e-mail provider has been bouncing a lot of my mail, and I've had to get them to unbounce it."

You say, "I just know re-filling everything out can actually cause people to not apply."

You say, "It can be a bit intimidating and emotional I suppose."

Fireeyes nods to you.

Ceosanna says, "Helena is actually away for a bit; however, she is reading through paperwork and whatnot when she can. I'll confer with the rest of the hiring team to check on the auto-response issue."

Ceosanna says, "The best thing to tell folks is to also make sure that their email address is up-to-date on their play.net account."

You say, "Oh, they assure me they are."

You nod.

You say, "I've had to send things in multiple times in the past so I just assume the systems are lossy, but hopefully not too lossy."

You ask, "The second thing, was any thoughts generated from our threads on the Platinum web page?"

Ceosanna asks, "Can you be more specific about the platinum webpage?"

You say, "Oh, well we'd had quite a big discussion on the forums about the Platinum Signup page. In terms of what it lists as Platinum benefits and so on."

Ceosanna asks, "As far as revamping the platinum page in general, then?"

You say, "Aye."

Ceosanna says, "It's been something I've been trying to do for YEARS."

Ceosanna clears her throat.

You nod.

You chuckle.

You ask, "Is the problem a lack of information from the players, or just GM time?"

Ceosanna says, "I keep passing the information and requests on."

Fireeyes nods.

You ask, "Any other thoughts on helping out Plat a bit either?"

You say, "I know we've been kind of churning the thought factory here trying to attract new victims..."

You scratch your head.

Ceosanna says, "I'll poke at people again, this time with my pointy stick, and see what falls out."

You chuckle.

You say, "I want to say, I think the number of events lately has been really really good."

You say, "I've unfortunately been tied up all month or I'd have been at them all."

Adera beams at you! What a warm feeling!

You mutter into the air something about second jobs..

You say, "Should clear up soon on my end, but I know of a lot of folks that left recently and I'm not sure what to do about that."

Adera says, "I tried locking the door."

You chortle at Adera.

Ceosanna says, "There is something in the works to stir up interest in DR in general, so hopefully that will also draw a few players this way as well. I can't really say anything further than that, so don't ask."

Serenay chuckles at Adera.

Baerdolas says, "Next time we use the bolt option."

You exclaim to Baerdolas, "War mammoths sitting on folks has been known to work too!"

You smile.

Ceosanna says, "The poplulation here has always fluctuated. I remember trying to run an event with only 1 player logged in."

Adera says, "'Me too."

You ask, "The GMs won't give up on us, right?"

Ceosanna says, "It's also the holiday's, so a lot of people have other obligations and don't spend as much time on the computer. I'm confident that we'll have an upswing again."

Emmiline says, "During that opening, the shop will be open to everyone who wishes to visit."

Ceosanna says to Adera, "With it being open to everyone for just a day, I would hope a lot of folks would show up."

Emmiline says, "But only for a couple of days, now, so if you're curious, please do try to come by. I think we will try to hold the ribbon cutting at 9 pm EST, in Willow Walk."

You jot down some notes.

Emmiline says, "I'll have cake and coffee too. Or something that might resemble that."

Fireeyes says to Emmiline, "I do know one of my boarders expressed an interest in the orphanage."

Emmiline says, "Oh and heavens! Before I forget, if ANYONE sees Seteria, could you PLEASE let her know that I need to meet with her. I'm starting to think she's hiding from me."

You say, "Alrighty. I think we all worry about bogging you guys down."

You chuckle.

Adera says, "No, we need to know what you are doing and want to do."

Adera says, "It's honestly a lot harder over here, so I'd rather know you are running something, and wouldn't mind if there was GM invovlement."

Ceosanna says, "Plus, player-run events give GMs who are hesitant to try to drum up attendance for their own events a way to sneak in and RP with you all."

Ceosanna whistles an innocent tune.

Adera says, "I have a question for you folks."

Adera asks, "What do you think about the calendar and postings I've done? The ones that say Event...Shard...be there?"

You say, "That is a good way of doing it I think. It keeps the mystery, and gets people where they need to be."

Helyanwe nods to you.

Fireeyes says to Adera, "It's been great for getting people to where they can play along, if they wish"

Asbhuan quietly says, "For myself that was an interesting evening"

Helyanwe says, "Also, maybe, if possible, a little hint on the time committment expected would help too"

Adera says, "Good, we were leary about it, but I wanted to get folks to where they needed to be."

Adera says, "And if you still have the mystery, great."

Fireeyes nods to Adera.

Helyanwe says, "It's a good idea for our small scattered population"

You say, "I will try to be more proactive with my own events as far as letting the GMs know whats going on in the future."

Adera says, "And I'll continue....that's also for the mystery, with just my name there, it doesn't out the GM's."

Asbhuan quietly says, "Given the way it went it was good Sete and I were up in Crossing"

Helyanwe says, "As far as player stuff.. the more we can get on the calendars the better for attendance as well"

Adera nods to Helyanwe.

Helyanwe says, "Plus it gives the GMs and change to interact and maybe lay the seeds for one of their events as well"

Adera says, "Ceosanna is still your contact for that, but I'm getting the messages and then sending them out to the GM's."

Adera says, "I did."

Ceosanna says, "We can suggest it, but sometimes it might not happen."

Adera ponders.

You duck your head.

Asbhuan raises his hand.

Adera asks, "You didn't?"

You say, "Oh I probably did, at some point."

You wink.

Adera grins.

(Odon knocks on his skull.)

Ucu asks you, "What guild is he anyway?"

You break out in a silly grin.

Adera glances at Ucu.

Adera asks, "You didn't just ask that?"

You say, "Nah, that was fine. ICly you can't know everyone so it makes sense to have to find out."

Fireeyes says to Ucu, "Trader"

Fireeyes grins.

Ucu nods to Fireeyes.

Ucu says to Adera, "I wouldn't know who you are if you didn't have your guild showing."

Asbhuan quietly asks, "Who didn't know he was a Viscount too?"

Adera grins at Ucu.

Fireeyes grins.

Ceosanna says to Ucu, "The big "GameMaster" title kind of gives her away. That and the aura."

Ceosanna winks at Ucu.

Fireeyes says, "And that he hailed from Therenborough or therabouts"

Ucu says to Ceosanna, "But which guild."

Ucu grins.

Fireeyes grins.

Adera sniffles.

Asbhuan quietly says, "Yak yak"

Adera says, "My reputation didn't precede me..."

Ucu says, "I don't even remember the name of my guild's GM most of the time."

Ucu coughs.

Fireeyes chuckles.

Ceosanna says to Adera, "More death and destruction via caravans."

Ceosanna nods to Adera.

Adera says, "I'm the Trader Liason as well as the Events Lead."

Adera grins at Ucu.

Ucu nods.

You let out a loud "Huzzah!"

Fireeyes grins.

Adera says, "Ordering them up now."

Helyanwe says, "that equals very busy person"

Adera nods to Ceosanna.

Ceosanna rubs her hands together.

Fireeyes grins.

Ucu asks Adera, "So...you're a heavy drinker..?"

Adera says, "Not at all."

Adera grins.

Adera says, "I love my jobs."

Ucu snickers.

Adera asks, "So any other events questions for me?"

Fireeyes ponders.

Fireeyes exclaims, "Ooh! One!"

Fireeyes grins.

Fireeyes is next.

Fireeyes asks, "Can you do say, a few critters for a player event?"

Fireeyes shrilly whistles.

Ceosanna says to Ashryth, "If you have a question, you should type "join list."

Ceosanna grins at Ashryth.

Fireeyes says, "Not special ones, just a few- misplaced."

Adera asks, "What sort of event?"

You ask Fireeyes, "Thinking Rayvne might finally get her pet mammoth eh?"

Fireeyes hums to herself.

Fireeyes grins.

Fireeyes says to you, "No idea- but it sounds interesting."

Asbhuan quietly says to you, "Only if it's pink."

Ashryth shakes his head at Ceosanna.

You laugh at Asbhuan!

Fireeyes says to Adera, "Well, the plot line is this: I have this one little lass who more or less stumbled over an- item- while running for her life."

Fireeyes says to Adera, "only, this item tends to draw ghosts and things, so she has to stay in holy places to rest"

Fireeyes says, "And the curse on the item- and the girl- needs to be broken so the ghosts can rest"

Asbhuan nervously says, "Drawg."

Fireeyes grins at Asbhuan.

Asbhuan glances about with concern on his face.

Asbhuan grins at Fireeyes.

Adera says, "The best I can suggest is to contact me via Events."

Adera says, "In other words, I need to do some research, but I'm willing to talk to you about it, and see what we can do."

Fireeyes nods to Adera.

Fireeyes exclaims, "Okies. Thanks!"

Fireeyes smiles.

Ceosanna asks Ashryth, "Did you have a question outside of the realm of events?"

Ceosanna leans on Ashryth.

Ashryth nods.

Ashryth asks, "Someone told me that you usually give out custom titles at the end of these. Is this still the case?"

Adera grins.

Fireeyes grins at Adera.

Fireeyes nods to Adera.

Helyanwe chuckles.

Ceosanna says, "I usually do. I can stick around for a few minutes if anyone needs them."

Ceosanna grins at Ashryth.

Ashryth says, "That was easy."

Helyanwe grins at Ashryth.

Ceosanna grins.

Asbhuan ponders Master of Hibarnhvidar.

Helyanwe says, "Ask and you shall receive"

Fireeyes grins.

Ceosanna exclaims, "That said, let's give our guests a thundering round of applause!"
