class=3DSpellE>MOOs</span> suffer from the problem of idiots.<span

 the
time your first experience will be encountering someone named Hulk Hogan, I=
 Am
Jesus, <span class=3DSpellE>OsamaWasMyBrudder</span>&#8230; you get the
idea.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>How the heck can anyone=
 have
fun in an RPG setting with people named such things?<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>Well for one <span class=3DGramE>n=
ames</span>
are controlled in DR Plat much better than they are in Prime (And they are =
kept
decent pretty well there too).</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p></p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><span style=3D'mso-tab-count:1'>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbs=
p;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Specific
rules are in place dictating what players are allowed to do under certain
circumstances.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>You will find =
that
Player versus Player combat is much less likely in Plat due to a variety of=
 issues
&#8211; but also because violations of &#8220;consent&#8221; rules is dealt
with harshly.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>This honestly
doesn&#8217;t interfere with good <span class=3DSpellE>roleplay</span>.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>Its funny but<span class=3DGramE>,=
,</span>
you learn how violence isn&#8217;t always the best way &#8211; and often ti=
mes
not the way to the most fun.</p>

people in Plat, while they still have their days, are generally better-roun=
ded

</span>The high cost insures that only those people that really want to be =
in
Plat will remain in Plat.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>I k=
now
most of the jerks in other games end up being Adults anyways, but the older
population allows for better dialogue.]</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><a name=3DBook3>3)</a>. I&#8217;d also like to say we =
have
some amazing players in Plat.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span=
>On
average you&#8217;ll see 10-30 people online at the same time, with numbers
having risen steadily since the New Year.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&=
nbsp;
</span>I&#8217;ve had some amazing moments with players who are exceptional
role players.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>From the Tog Te=
am, to
brooding crazy mages, to the <span class=3DSpellE>Demenya</span> Stomp!
You&#8217;ll find so many interesting people you won&#8217;t know what to d=
o at
times.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>Everyone has their own
styles of playing their characters.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp;
</span>With an even distribution of male to female players you won&#8217;t =
feel
imbalance easily found in other games.</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p></p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><a name=3DBook4>4).</a> Player run events occur every
month.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>These can range from
Weddings, to meeting in the Tavern for drinks, to a friendly Naked Ranger
Race!<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>The creativity of the p=
layers
can go far, filling in the gaps created when GMs are off running events in
another part of the land.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp;
</span>Don&#8217;t get me wrong though, in many cases GMs still have a help=
ing
hand in GM run events &#8211; they are always there to ask for help if <span
class=3DGramE>its</span> needed.</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><a name=3DBook5>5).</a> Plat has a smaller population =
and this
does a lot to bring the Community together.<span

to
whisk people away to the far corners of the world &#8211; jewelry not found=
 in
Prime and The Fallen.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>While t=
his is
necessary due to the smaller population (and long travel times between
provinces) it also means an astute player can get much more involved in
worldwide events than would otherwise be possible.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span></p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p></p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><a name=3DBook6>6).</a> Plat gets to test things befor=
e Prime
and TF get to see them.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>While=
 one
of the smaller perks, it is nice to occasionally bug test and break game
systems before anyone else has a chance to see them.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>For example the Cursed Quest was r=
un
once in Plat before being released to Prime and TF to ensure it was working
correctly.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>Many times other g=
ame
systems, spells, and items will be brought into Plat for the purpose of
previewing it before anyone else has a chance to.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>This can definitely be a cool perk=
.</p>

everyone avoid the hassle of buying them from a moon mage, and organize thi=

have a Chat feature in game that allows for <span class=3DSpellE>gamewide</=
span>
talking over a single channel.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </spa=
n>Its
intended purpose was for sometimes IC, sometimes OCC use when communication=
 is
imperative (especially helpful during new releases when things are acting
awry!).</p>

<p class=3DMsoNormal><a name=3DBook9>9).</a> Posted Monthly events allow fo=
r the
making of room in one&#8217;s schedule to partake in something big.<span

aren&#8217;t posted, occasionally something interesting will hit the calend=
ar
and draw crowds.</p>

provides us with our very own section in the forums for discussing Platinum

on
between players and staff, progression of IC matters, and just idle chit ch=

that brings people together.</p>

game-wide discussion of what&#8217;s going on in the lands.<span

friends and the people running the game present.<span

ey
usually don&#8217;t charge more than you can afford (so you <span class=3DS=
pellE>youngings</span>
can have some fun as well) and are a very good way to get some themed
items.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>A fire mage needs his =
bright
red duds just as much as a Paladin needs his engraved armor.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span></p>

normally you&#8217;d have to find an empath to take your scars &#8211;
something that can prove difficult at times in game.<span

most
fresh wounds, you always have to rely on players or herbs for the really na=
sty
stuff.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span></p>

you won&#8217;t know what to do with them after joining Plat. <span

allen
as well.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>So by joining one ga=
me,
you&#8217;ll get access to all three AND have more space to make every
character of your dream.</p>

line of text allowed in your buffer comes in handy when writing travel scri=

Plat&#8217;s history draw from the Prime world, many do not.<span

differently here, either by design or by player decision making.<span
style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>This can be of interest to those w=
anting
their name forever remembered in legend and lore.</p>

where all festival items are greatly marked down compared to the other game
worlds.</p>

circles.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>The average circle i=
n Plat
seems to be around 15-25<sup>th</sup>.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbs=

</span>While a portion of the population has one or two higher circle
characters (60-70), you don&#8217;t see the extreme circles you would in the
other versions.<span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>&nbsp; </span>Part of this =
is due
to the anti-<span class=3DSpellE>macroing</span> policy, but we all know <s=
pan
class=3DGramE>its</span> because you&#8217;re too busy interacting with eve=
ryone
to bother training!</p>
